Lime mortar
Lime mortar is one of the earliest types of mortar and can be found in some of the world’s oldest surviving structures. It was used by the Romans in preparation of cement, and it is both porous and flexible, which helps protect historic bricks.
It is our preferred choice over Portland Cement for pointing and restoring such historic buildings as London’s Victorian terraced houses and industrial buildings.
